Tattoo Artist Guide: Goals for 2013

Happy new year to all our tattoo artists and designers! Thank you for being a part of the Tatboard and Tattoo community. In 2012 we got to meet a lot of you! In 2013, we want to help you succeed. Some of you are new and are just getting into the swing of things. Let us know how we can help you reach your goals. Always contact us with any questions you may have on the site. For approved artists, we have a Facebook group just for you with the most current information on requests. Funded requests, news, tips and other helpful information. The Facebook group is also a direct communication line to me, Naomi-the Artist Liaison. My goal is to help all the tattoo artists and designers succeed on Tatboard. Good communication is key!

Some of you are tattoo artists and designers who have been here for a while and have found some success. How can I help you reach your goals here on Tatboard? How many sales per month are you making currently? How many would you like to make? Let's start the discussion in the comment board below.

I wouldn't mind doing the odd

I wouldn't mind doing the odd design when I have time, but I have yet to make a sale. I think that's because it's difficult for me to wrap my head around the idea of spending time on a concept image if I haven't been paid to do so. As a tattoo artist, I always get a deposit in my pocket upfront.

I understand what you mean Allison. This is a totally different idea we are working with. Many of the artists, designers as well as experienced tattoo artists, make a pretty good chunk of change every month! Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. :)
